Camping at Detroit Lake State Park
Detroit Lake’s campground offers nearly 300 sites on the shore of a forest-ringed canyon reservoir in the Cascade Mountains. The nine-mile-long lake is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and other water sports. Sightseers enjoy views of snow-capped Mt. Jefferson in the distance.
The campground has horseshoe pits, a basketball court, a volleyball area, and a playground. There are two courtesy boat ramps, two boat moorages, and a fishing dock. There is also a Visitor Center that has park and area information along with gifts, ice, soft drinks, firewood, souvenirs and educational toys that can be purchased.

Kane’s Marina: RV Park
Kane’s RV Park has 48 full hook-up seasonal RV sites in a newly remodeled and landscaped area close to the water and a few steps from the store and tavern. The park is easy walking distance to restaurants and other city of Detroit amenities. Seasonal spots include hook-ups for water, electricity and cable TV. RV sites accommodate motor homes and trailers between 30’–40′, with limited capacity for rigs up to 45′. Pets are welcome, but dogs must be kept on a leash and please pick up after your pet.

Piety Island Campground
Piety Island Campground is located on the island in the center of Detroit Lake. It offers 22 camping sites for tents only and there are limited facilities. Reservations are not required as it is on a first come first serve basis. Fees do apply and the island is accessed by boat only. There are fire grills, uncut firewood and garbage collection. There is no drinking water.
